Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-08-05. Plain-English version: use the site, don't abuse it, and don't treat it as a substitute for checking the provider's own pricing page before you buy.
1. The service
CompareTheStack (comparethestack.com), operated by Dimva LTD (company no. 16068163), is a free, independent comparison tool for infrastructure services. No account is required to use it.
2. No accuracy guarantee
We check prices by hand against each provider's own pricing page and disclose exactly how (see methodology) — but providers change prices without notice, and hand-checked data can be stale or wrong between checks. Always confirm the actual price on the provider's own site before purchasing. CompareTheStack is not liable for a purchase decision made on outdated or incorrect information shown here.
3. Acceptable use
Don't scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other users, don't attempt to manipulate rankings or submit false provider data, and don't use the site for anything unlawful.
4. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links — see the affiliate disclosure page. Clicking one and purchasing may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you; it never affects which result ranks higher.
5. Intellectual property
The site's design, code and original written content belong to Dimva LTD. Provider names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only — CompareTheStack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any provider listed unless explicitly stated.
6. Availability
The site is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. We'll fix things that break, but there's no SLA to invoke.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dimva LTD isn't liable for losses arising from decisions made using information on this site. Nothing here excludes liability that can't legally be excluded.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the site evolves; the "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
