The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra — typically the same price you'd pay going direct, sometimes a provider-specific discount through the link.

What it never affects

Ranking, sort order, and the "best value" label are computed from price and specs — identically, whether or not a commission is attached to that row. A provider with no affiliate relationship with us can still rank first if the numbers say so. See methodology for exactly how ranking is computed, and how we make money for the full commercial picture, including the one thing that is for sale (a clearly-labeled "Featured" tag — never the ranking itself).

Current status

As of today, no affiliate program is live yet — this page describes the policy that will govern any affiliate relationship once one is active, and will be updated with the actual list of active programs as they go live.
