Methodology: figures last checked 2026-08-05, sourced directly off each provider's own pricing page (linked per row) — the one row marked approx had an internal inconsistency on the vendor page itself (plan name vs. stated storage didn't match) and is flagged rather than silently resolved. Shared-hosting prices are first-term promotional rates, standard across the industry — the real renewal price is shown in each row's notes, not hidden. Managed WordPress plans (Kinsta, WP Engine) are a different product tier and shouldn't be price-compared directly against budget shared hosting — use the "Managed WordPress only" filter to separate them.
